Before the exhibition opening officially kicks off, join us for an open discussion with Noah Spivak, Emma Winkler and Pink Ember Studio.
At our first event of the year, artists will be talking memes, alchemy and the Danse Macabre. The discussion will run from 3.30pm to approximately 4.15pm, after which participants are invited to wander through the galleries and join opening celebrations.
This event is free to attend; please register if you would like to receive updates and reminders via email.

Noah Spivak’s compulsive urge to collect – objects, relationships, meaning – is used to explore the small phenomena of the reality we inhabit. Spivak’s current processes collaborate with the alchemical world, creating temporal artworks that express a deep adoration (and understanding) for the materials used.
Emma Winkler is a Melbourne-based artist whose practice explores the unknown, death, failure and the absurd. She works with collage, painting and video, with many works transitioning back and forth across mediums.
Pink Ember Studios is a queer-run co-operative, creating spaces for artists to make work and be part of a community.
Artists represented:
Kathy Sarpi, Aaron Billings, Frances Cannon, Aoife Billings, Lydia Cross, Camilla Eustance, Jesse Bisset, Romey Porcu, Simone Alesich and Leili.
