Join us for the closing of the After Walter Hopps exhibition.
One of the highlights of our year is the After Walter Hopps closing event, where Gallery One comes alive with both artists and art buyers, culminating in a fun frenzy of last-minute viewing and purchasing. Whether by artist or acquisition, the artworks must all be de-installed—but not without fun, food, and creative conversation.
We encourage the Geelong community to support local artists by investing in local art. Join us for this memorable event on Thursday, 11th December, 5.30pm to 8.30pm.
Light catering provided, and enjoy a free drink on arrival. Bespoke cocktails will be served by Anther Distillery.
Are you an artist exhibiting in After Walter Hopps 2025? Attendance is part of the AWH submission process and overall experience. Please bring what you need in order to package your artwork and safely take it home. For more information, please refer back to the guidelines.

Two auctions will be held for pieces from two local artists.
Artwork can be deinstalled and collected by artists and those who’ve purchased from 8:00pm onwards.
