infinity is a performance ensemble of artists aged between 10 and 21 years working in collaboration with Jackson Castiglione (Field Theory, pvi collective). Born during 2020, infinity encompasses artists who live and work in regional and urban centres. The ensemble meets primarily online and in-person at Platform Arts in Djillong/Geelong. infinity have been working together for over 12 months.
Platform Arts is looking for new people to collaborate across live and digital performances. We’re seeking artists aged 10 - 18 who are interested in devising and performing challenging new projects including (but not limited to) theatre, podcasts and screen works. Final works are to be presented in Djillong/Geelong and across local and international festivals.
Artists with varying ranges of experience in the performance industry are welcome to apply (there are no requirements, and it’s a free program). You need only to be interested in developing as a contemporary artist, performing original works, and creating collaboratively to realise your ideas.
Successful applicants must be available to attend weekly online meetings (Wednesdays 4.30pm - 6.30pm) and monthly in-person meetings (Saturdays, 10am - 4pm). Locations for in-person meetings will be in the Platform Arts Performance Space (in Djillong/Geelong).
