A performance ensemble incorporating interactive sound and visuals exploring a changing visual and sound universe using voice, clarinets, electronics, found footage, photography stills, paintings and drawings, all of which are woven into a tapestry depicting natural phenomena, cultural landmarks, events, and themes of their own devising.
Brigid Burke
Brigid is an Australian clarinet soloist, composer, performance artist, visual artist, video artist and educator whose creative practice explores the use of acoustic sound, contemporary new music, technology, visual arts, video, notation and improvisation to enable cross media performances that are rich in aural and visual nuances. Her work is widely presented in concerts, festivals, and radio broadcasts throughout Australia, Asia, Brazil, Europe and the USA. Recently she has been a recipient of an Australia Council Project Music Fellowship & New Works. She has a PhD in Composition from UTAS and a Master of Music in Composition from The University of Melbourne.
Jutta Pryor
Jutta is a filmmaker and multimedia artist whose creative interests include immersive visual and sound installations, experimental film making, live projection art and poetic film. Working with both local and international writers and sound artists via online platforms, her collaborative work has been presented at a number of international film festivals. A passion for nature and travel to remote places.
Sophie Rose
Sophie is a Melbourne based Kiwi artist bringing in the revolution with creepy folk blues. She plays acoustic sets regularly around Melbourne and has recorded her debut E.P. The Lies We Tell Ourselves. Sophie’s previous projects include a nine-piece New Orleans Blues band that was invited to play at the International Jazz festival in Queenstown, NZ; session harmony vocals; music teaching; and live performances across the globe.
