Platform Arts invites artists or collectives from across Western Regional Victoria to join our open Pecha Kutcha nights. These are designed as conversation starters - giving artists a chance to share their practice and connect with the broader art community. This supports our curatorially fluid and artist-led approach to engaging local arts practitioners.
Platform’s Pecha Kucha sessions facilitate a reciprocal benefit, empowering collaboration and community. These nights enable us to meet local artists and scope potential collaborations and programming opportunities in real time. They also provide an opportunity for us to practice radical hospitality, holding the sessions over a shared meal.
There will be a sign up sheet on the night. Please ensure you have your slides saved as a pdf for compatibility.
This is a free event, and some food and drinks will be provided. The sessions will be hosted by our Artistic Director, Amber Smith. They will be held every quarter, in line with our thematics.
