As part of Geelong Pride Film Festival, Platform Arts will be hosting a screening of The Accidental Archivist and Q&A with Julie Peters.

Trans community pioneer Julie Peters was the first person to transition at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, and the first openly trans person to run for Parliament. This film explores her life and the development of her incredible archive, compiled over 50 years documenting transgender history in Australia.
