This family-friendly event is raising funds for the Bob Brown Foundations (BBF) campaign to protect Takayna Rainforest (the Tarkine) in lutruwita/Tasmania.

Takayna, the second largest temperate rainforest in the world, 495,000 hectares of World Heritage value virgin wilderness, remains devoid of permanent protection and is instead threatened by an onslaught of logging and mining.

Come along to show your support for this campaign, have a boogie to some sick local bands, bid on some kindly donated art, and learn more about this invaluable place that deserves protecting, and how you can be further involved.

There will be:

  • an Art Auction organized by supporters Mixed Medium

  • a BBF representative coming to speak on the campaign

  • short-films and poetry

  • local bands including Final Final, De Porsal and Seal Prince & the Roof Rats

Bring your pals and your dancing shoes!!
All proceeds go to the Bob Brown Foundation.
