João Marco Deloie is a Brazilian-German emerging artist with a background in photography and video. Originally from regional Queensland, Deloie is now based in Melbourne and is undertaking a Bachelor of Screen Production at Swinburne University of Technology, co-majoring in Film Production and Indigenous Studies. Inspired by his First Nation Brazilian heritages, João's work synthesises cultural practice and artistic practice, providing visibility of under-represented communities of Brazil through a decolonising lens.
