Platform Arts is inviting artists to submit expressions of interest for our 2023 creative program. There are four separate program opportunities to apply for: LAB, YOOKAPA, Performance Program and Public Programs.
Platform Arts presents a yearly program of performance works across theatre, dance, music/sound and experimental, installation or interdisciplinary practice. We champion creative risk and experimentation in performance, supporting artists to challenge conventions and develop bold and experimental works for new audiences.
Projects for the 2023 Performance Program may be creative developments, one-off presentations or touring works.
Platform Arts is equipped with a Rehearsal Space, Performance Space, two galleries and private studios. We may provide in-kind support, including venue hire, equipment, production and marketing support.
Artist, presenter and commissioning fees will be negotiated on an individual basis.
Platform Arts recognises the need for accessible contemporary arts development opportunities, and we welcome applications from artists of all disciplines, ages and stages of practice.
