Please note, Platform Arts is a dry venue.
Join artist Phoebe Thompson in a gentle meander, and a collaborative weaving into their exhibition at Platform Arts, if it falls, it falls.
You are invited to meander (drift gently like leaves and fairies) around the built and natural environments surrounding the gallery, looking to peacefully forage and collect what man-made refuse you come across. Be guided in methods of binding and crafting including weaving, sewing, spinning, plaiting. The resulting assemblages or pure objects can be woven into the exhibition to allow it to evolve collaboratively.
Assistance will be offered in bending, collecting, and making, if needed. No "creative experience" is necessary. All ages are warmly invited.
This event is free to attend, running as part of Phoebe Thompson's exhibition 'if it falls, it falls.' Please register, as places are limited.
