An introductory workshop on how to paint with ink, led by local artist Jordan Smart.

Learn painting techniques such as creating washes, blotting, bleeding, lifting out, depth with tones, spray and flickering. We will then apply our newly-learned techniques to making a painting of Platform’s building (either inside or outside) or walk over to paint in Johnstone Park.

This class is ideal for beginners, and anyone who is new to painting with ink. All materials will be provided.

This workshop runs concurrently with Jordan Smart’s exhibition in Gallery One,
‘lightly touched, loosely bound,’ showing until 25 March.
