MICHAELA MCHUGH

Deeply connected to the natural world, Michaela McHugh is an eclectic multidisciplinary artist, celebrating both the beauty and struggle of existence. Michaela draws on threads of passed on knowledge and exploration through natural materials, waste, drawing, textiles, words, printmaking and mural making. Michaela has a BFA from Monash University and from there journeyed with a conversation and commitment for regeneration and responsible stewardship of our planet. Studying and practising permaculture, yoga, forest skills, small scale farming, land regen and community work, Michaela draws on a rich tapestry. Currently taking her place on Wadawurrung country, the stories that linger there from the living or nonliving beings of the past or the present.
