FIONA RYAN

BOARD MEMBER

Fiona Ryan is a Melbourne lawyer with almost a decade of experience advising the public and private sector across Australia and New Zealand.

Fiona has worked in and alongside the arts community for several years. Prior to qualifying as a lawyer, she held a number of production and theatre management roles in Auckland, New Zealand. As a lawyer, she has assisted arts sector clients in ‘the business of arts’, advising a range of arts organisations, venue owners and event promoters on governance, regulatory reform and commercial matters.

Fiona has a deep interest in promoting arts education and supporting young people - particularly young women - into careers in arts. She joined the Platform Arts board in October 2023.
