CAROLINE BORGHETTO

Caroline Borghetto is a Torquay-based emerging artist. Her practice is predominantly focused on abstract painting but she also works across print-making, photography and drawing. Caroline’s work has strong mid-century modern influences with her own techniques and colour usage coming through to present her unique voice. 

Caroline’s journey in the visual arts spans over a decade and a half. She explores the human connection to nature, beauty and imperfection throughout her work, while also contemplating the fascinating human desire for perfection. She is drawn to abstraction and risk-taking in her practice and uses organic shapes, negative space and subtle and obvious disruptions to draw a response from viewers. Her works are a reflection of her physical landscape and internal landscape coming together.
