Following a successful pilot program in 2023, the Neighbourhood LAB program returns in 2024 as part of the G21 Making Change Strategy, to extend artist support and sustainability across the G21 region.
Selected artists will collectively explore and interrogate the key challenges and enablers of maintaining a regional arts practice. Through facilitated monthly gatherings, guest artists and practitioners will lead an in-depth, artist-driven program that aims to foster contemporary practice in regional communities.
Neighbourhood LAB will support up to six artists for this six-month residency program. Meeting monthly at Platform Arts in Geelong, artists will be supported to develop new networks across the region, and contribute their voice to national and global discourse.
For questions and enquiries, contact us at hello@platformarts.org.au / 03 5224 2815.
We are available to answer any questions by phone or email up until 4.00pm, 22 March.
Artists may apply via the Google form linked on this page, or request an alternative submission process via email or phone.
